Banana Buckwheat Porridge

A great banana porridge and because it is blended, it has much more of a porridge like texture and is great for a baby's first foods (without the nuts)

buckwheat gluten free porridge

Ingredients

130g Buckwheat
500ml milk (dairy, soy or rice)
1 tbsp demerera sugar
 
Method

1. Wash the buckwheat

2. Put the buckwheat, milk and sugar into a sauce, bring to the boil and simmer for 20 mins

Serve with chopped bananas or/and raisins

 

NB -if you dont like the texture of the seeds you can blend it with a hand blender for a smoother porridge (My daughter prefers a smoother porridge) be careful not to over blend as it can become a bit too paste like
