Butterfly Cakes

Delicious buterfly cakes, perfect parties and gluten free
 
Ingredients

75g Butter / marg
75g Golden Caster Sugar
2 Eggs
1 ml Vanilla Extract
75 g Gluten Free Plain Flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp xanthan gum
1 tbs golden syrup
15 ml Milk (more if needed)

TOPPING
50 g Butter
75 g Icing Sugar
Method

1. Add the butter and sugar to a bowl and beat until spoon

2. Beat in the eggs and all other ingredients (. Use a whisk if available)

3. spoon into cup cake cases

4. Bake for 12 mins in the oven and then leave to cool

5. Slice top off cakes and put to one side.

6. Make butter icing by mixing the butter and icing sugar until smooth

7. Share the butter icing between the cakes 8 cut the cake tops in half and place on top of cakes like butterfly wings!
