Ginger Lemonade

A thirst quennhing throw it all in a pan delicately flavoured ginger lemonade - Boil, C
Ingredients
2 lemons
2 litres of water
350g to 300g caster sugar (depending on how sweet you like it)
7 slices of fresh ginger
250ml to 500ml lemon juice (optional) (depending on lemony you like it)
lemon sliced

Method

1. In a saucepan heat the water, sugar and ginger until boiling (stir occassionally)

2. Stir in the sliced lemon and leave to cool (approx 15 mins)

3. Remove slices of ginger and lemons

4. Keep refridgerated until needed

5. Serve with ice and a slice (of lemon)

 

NB you can pour into an ice cube tray ad freeze for great ice cubes

 

For a more lemony Ginger Lemonade add the 250ml to 500ml of lemon juice into the boiling saucepan with the sliced lemons
